The picture: a still moment, an Intervallum. Frozen time, concentrate, reduction. Abstraction. Taken out idealism. Pure sematism. Not reality, and not even an image of reality, only a sign, a trail.

Minimalism and musicality. Static ripple and silent rhytm. No measure or point of reference. A black and white pattern, like a river fits into the picture. However the vertical direction makes me unsure. The water, by its nature, is in synchron with the horizontal structure.

Here, as it stood inside out, makes a kind of separation wall between the past and present, which is represented by the metronome. At the same time both parts of the picture represent the embeddedness in time, the progress, the idea of necessary change. It always makes us remember the moment which is past and which will come.
